This field type should be used for capturing simple alphanumeric text. Use this field only when all other fields do not apply. (e.g. name, address, color, description)
Display Name - This is the name which will be displayed throughout LinkTrust for this field. It is recommended that you use a name that easily identifies the data being captured. This field is required.
Field Name - This is the name of the field as it should be submitted into LinkTrust. This is the name of the field as it appears in the form HTML code or the name of the field which affiliate's will use to post data. This field is required and CAN NOT contain spaces or special characters.
Description - This is an optional field which can be used to describe this data field.
Required - Select this option if the data field should be submitted with a value for each lead.
Show in Post Instructions - Select this option if the data field should appear in the Posting Instructions for the campaign. In most cases, you will want all fields to appear in the instructions.
Min Length - This is the minimum length of characters allowed to be submitted in this field. The system will return a validation error if the value for this field contains less than the number of characters specified.
Max Length - This is the maximum length of characters allowed to be submitted in this field. The system will return a validation error if the value for this field contains more than the number of characters specified.
Regular Expression (Reg Exp) - For Advanced Users Only - A regular expression is a specific pattern that provides concise and flexible means to "match" (specify and recognize) strings of text, such as particular characters, words, or patterns of characters.
Black List - This option lists all of the values not allowed to be submitted in this field. Enter new line separated values which this field rejects. Use a wild card "*" to broaden your black lists field value matches, e.g. *google* match on any values that contain *google*regardless of what values are before or after. Need to white list values? Use the Pick List field type.
