LinkTrust 8.0 presents a new way of managing user rights via User Roles. We’re also introducing new names for each category of user as outlined below.
- LT8 Clients - previously referred to as Partners.
- LT8 Partners - previously called Affiliates.
- LT8 Advertisers - previously known as Merchants.
Admins can customize access & permissions for each Client user, Partner user, and Advertiser user.
Roles are the pivotal component in customizing user Rights as explained here:
- Each user within an account will be tied to a single Role.
- The Role can be a system default Role or a custom designed Role.
- The Role will include a specified set of Rights.
- In other words, users inherit Rights from their assigned Roles.
- Custom Roles can be created to fit requirements of each business relationship.
