The Publish Settings page allows you to customize how your affiliates view that offer in the Affiliate Center.

Offer Information

Title

The campaign's title is the name of an offer or a campaign in the Affiliate Center and Advertiser Center.

Description

A campaign's description gives descriptive information about a campaign. This is helpful for affiliates when learning more about the campaign. (HTML supported)

Special Instructions

A campaign's special instructions give additional helpful instructions to affiliates about a campaign. This is helpful for affiliates when learning more about the campaign prior to running it. (HTML supported)

Thumbnail Image (75x30)

A thumbnail image can be shown in the Affiliate Center next to a campaign. You may either provide a URL where this image is hosted or upload to LinkTrust.  This image should be 75x30 pixels in dimension.

Tracking Link Format

You may choose what type of URL to give your affiliates to use when running this campaign. There are three (3) types of URL formats to choose from:

  • A Standard URL is a typical query string with ? and & to attach value pair parameters. This format is not search engine optimized (SEO). Example: domain.com?name=John&phone=123456789.
  • An SEO URL is more search engine optimized or friendly then a Standard query string URL because it does not use ? or & within the query string. Example: domain.com/name/John/phone/123456789.
  • A Custom URL is a URL that you specify. Only use this option if you know what you are doing.

Impression URL

The Impression URL is generated within creatives by placing an impression token that when viewed through the Affiliate Center, is replaced with either the pixel or URL that tracks impressions. The Tokens appear as [=ImpressionPixel=] and [=ImpressionURL=].  We recommend using [=ImpressionPixel=] as it contains all the html code to effectvely execute the impression URL.

Tracking URL

The tracking URL is the URL generated by LinkTrust and issued to affiliates. Traffic is passed through this URL to facilitate tracking. The URL was setup when your account was created. This URL is automatically populated for creatives when you use the [=TrackingURL=] token. Your tracking URL can be used in standard URL or SEO URL format.

The following are required tracking URL parameters:

  • CID - Campaign ID
  • AFID - Affiliate ID

The following are recommended tracking URL parameters:

  • SID - Sub ID
  • ADID - Creative ID (The legacy version uses DID)
Payout Details

Advertised Affiliate Payout

The advertised affiliate payout is the default amount paid to affiliates. This usually is the lowest payout possible, because individual affiliate payouts can be configured to override this amount. Note: Any changes made to affiliate payouts take effect the beginning of the next business day.

Earnings Per Click (EPC)

Earnings Per Click is the commission earned divided by the number of clicks.  Here you can set the EPC that affiliates will see on the "Request Offers" page.

Conversion %

Conversion % is the number of conversions divided by the number of clicks.  Here you can set the Conv. % that affiliates will see on the "Request Offers" page.

Add to Affiliate Center Featured Campaigns

You can choose to add the campaign to the table of "Featured" campaigns.  If you enable this, you must set the priority for the campaign.  The priority must be a number greater than zero, with 1 being the top of the list.  To show this list in the Affiliate Center, use the token [=PRIORITIZEDOFFERLISTING=].

Assign to Affiliates

In this section, you can select to have an affiliate automatically assigned to the campaign when their application is approved or when they request the campaign in the Affiliate Center.

Allowed Media Channels

The Allowed Media Channels section helps you match affiliate and campaigns based on the allowed traffic types in the Affiliate Details and the campaign Affiliate Center Settings. Affiliates that match in allowed traffic may request public live campaign from the Affiliate Center Request Offer section.

Allow Networks

This feature allows you to filter affiliates associated with an affiliate network. If you select Yes, then all affiliates will see this offer in the Request Offers section of the affiliate center. If you select No, then any affiliate associated to an affiliate network will not see this offer in the Request Offers portion of the affiliate center. You can identify an affiliate as a network in the Affiliate Details of their affiliate account.

Allowed Traffic Types

In campaigns, traffic types are used to define the type of traffic allowed for a specific offer. The LinkTrust partner must identify the types of traffic allowed for each offer. After this is done, LinkTrust only allows affiliates that match the allowed traffic types to request this offer from the Affiliate Center.

For affiliates, each affiliate must be assigned the traffic type they are able to generate. After an affiliate is assigned, the affiliate only sees offers that match that type of traffic.

Exclusivity

You can set the exclusivity of the campaign to one of four options: N/A, Exclusive, Non-Exclusive, and Agency of Record.  Affiliates can filter the campaigns by this setting in the affiliate center.

Recurring Commission

Here you can specify whether the campaign has recurring commission. Affiliates can filter the campaigns by this setting in the affiliate center.

Seasonal

You may assign the campaign to one or more seasons, and affiliates can filter the campaigns by this setting in the affiliate center.  If a campaign doesn't have a season assigned, it will only show up when the seasonal filter is set to "All."

Visibility

You can restrict visibility for an offer to a specific affiliate group.  When selecting the affiliate group(s), only affiliate assigned to that group(s) will be able to view this offer on the Requested Offers Page in the Affiliate Center.  When all affiliate groups are unchecked, this offer is visible for all affiliates.

Terms and Conditions

In the Terms and Conditions section, you can view and modify the terms and conditions for the campaign. When the terms and conditions are modified, you will see an updated date and time above the Terms and Conditions field.  If you click the check box underneath the text editor, affiliates will be required to agree to these Terms and Conditions the next time they attempt to get the creatives for the campaign.

Email Campaigns

You can use this section to authorize the text that can be used in email campaigns.  If these fields and the email suppression are left blank, you will see no reference to them in the Affiliate Center.

From Lines

From lines contain the authorized text that appears in the From Line field of an email when advertising a campaign.

Subject Lines

Subject lines contain the authorized text that appears in the Subject Line field of an email when advertising a campaign.

Email Suppression

There are several ways you can supply your affiliate with a suppression file.  If the email suppression and email campaign settings are left blank, you will see no reference to them in the Affiliate Center.

Suppression File URL

A suppression file is a file containing consumer email addresses of those who do not want to be emailed for a specific offer.
