[Partner (Admin) Center](https://help.linktrust.com/en/knowledge/partner-admin-center?hsLang=en) # User Account Settings **New User Account** The New User Account page allows you to configure the following user account features: - Account Information - Authentication - Contact Type - Send Email Notifications - Security Templates - User Rights #### Account Information The following account information is displayed for the user: - First Name - Last Name - Title - Phone - Instant Messenger - Email - Picture - Color - Status - If Enabled is marked, the user account is enabled in LinkTrust. To disable the user account, unmark **Enabled**. #### Authentication The Authentication section allows you to modify the username and password for the user and restrict login to specific IP addresses. To restrict user login to specific IP addresses, do the following: 1. Mark **Restrict User Login to these IP Addresses**. 2. In the field, enter in each restricted **IP address** on a separate line. #### Username To change the username, do the following: 1. Select **Change Username**. 2. In the Username field, enter a *username*. 3. Select **Update Username**. If the change was successful, you will receive the message **Your changes were successfully saved** at the top of the page. #### Password To change the password, do the following: ***\*Note:** The password must be at least 8 characters and include a number, a lower case letter, and an upper case letter.* 1. In the Confirm Password field, enter the new *password* again. 2. Select **Update Password**. If the change was successful, you will receive the message **Your changes were successfully saved** at the top of the page. #### Contact Type The Contact Type section allows you to specify what type of user this is. You can choose any or all of the following contact types: - Business Contact - Accounting Contact - Technical Contact #### Send Email Notifications The Send Email Notifications for section allows you to specify the reason the user will receive emails from LinkTrust. The following email notifications may be chosen; select all that apply: - Business Issues - General Support - Technical Issues - Affiliate Signup #### Security Templates In the Security section, you can select a template to apply security right to the user account or select the rights individually. A security template has a predefined set of user rights that can be automatically applied to a user account. You can assign user rights by selecting a template or by selecting the rights individually. Making changes to a user account that was created from a template will not modify other user accounts created by the security template. Any changes to a specific user’s rights will only affect that specific user and are not applied globally. The following are the six security templates: - Administrator Template - Power User Template - Campaign Manager Template - Affiliate Manager Template - Report Runner Template - Other Template #### Administrator Template The administrator template provides the user with all the admin, transaction, community, campaign, affiliate, merchant, report columns, and reports rights available. ***\*Note:** If you have admin rights, do not remove the Manage Users right. Removing this permission locks you out of the system. If this occurs, contact LinkTrust Support.* #### Power User Template The power user template provides the following rights: **Admin Rights** - No admin rights given **Transaction Rights** - View Transaction Details - Edit Transactions - Export Transaction Details **Community Rights** - Company Profile - OfferBoard - Support - Suggestion Box - GeekSpeak - Forum - View Connections - Cashier **Campaign Rights** - Create Campaigns - Edit Assigned Campaigns - Edit All Campaign **Affiliate Rights** - View All Affiliates - View Affiliate Details - Create Affiliates - Edit Assigned Affiliates - Edit All Affiliates - Approve New Applications - View Affiliate Payment Details - Export Affiliates **Merchant Rights** - Create Merchants - View Merchants - Edit Merchants **Report Columns Rights** - View Payout - View ECPM - View EPC - View Revenue - View Commission - View Margin The power user template has the View All Campaigns in reports permission and view and export rights for the following reports: - Campaign Performance Report - Affiliate Performance Report - Campaigns By Affiliate Report - Affiliate Commissions Report - Merchant Performance Report - Sub ID Breakout Report - Affiliate Manager Performance Report - Affiliates By Campaign Report - Creative Breakout Report - Daily Breakout Report - Campaigns By Merchant Report The user must have the View right before the user is given the Export right. #### Campaign Manager Template The campaign manager template provides the following rights: **Admin Rights** - No admin rights given **Transaction Rights** - View Transaction Details **Community** - RightsOfferBoard - Support - GeekSpeak - View Connections **Campaign Rights** - Create Campaigns - Edit Assigned Campaigns **Affiliate Rights** - View All Affiliates **Merchant Rights** - Create Merchants - View Merchants - Edit Merchants **Report Columns Rights** - View Payout - View ECPM - View EPC - View Revenue The campaign manager template has the following report rights: **View Permission** - Campaign Performance Report - Merchant Performance Report - Sub ID Breakout Report - Affiliates By Campaign Report - Creative Breakout Report - Campaigns By Merchant Report **Export Permission** - None By default, the View All Campaigns in reports permission is unmarked in the campaign manager template. Also, in the campaign manager, the user must have the View right before the user is given the Export right. #### Affiliate Manager Template The affiliate manager template provides the following rights: **Admin Rights** - No admin rights given **Transaction Rights** - View Transaction Details **Community** - Support - GeekSpeak - View Connections **Campaign Rights** - No campaign rights given **Affiliate Rights** - View Affiliates Details - Create Affiliates - Edit Assigned Affiliates - Approve New Applications - View Affiliate Payment Details **Merchant Rights** - View Merchants **Report Columns Rights** - View Payout - View ECPM - View EPC - View Commission The affiliate manager template has the View All Campaigns in reports permission in addition to the following report rights: **View Permission** - Campaign Performance Report - Affiliate Performance Report - Campaigns By Affiliate Report - Affiliate Commissions Report - Sub ID Breakout Report - Affiliates By Campaign Report - Creative Breakout Report The user must have the View right before the user is given the Export right. #### Report Runner Template The report runner template provides the following rights: **Admin Rights** - No admin rights given **Transaction Rights** - No transaction rights given **Community Rights** - Support - GeekSpeak **Campaign Rights** - No campaign rights given **Affiliate Rights** - View All Affiliates - View Affiliates Details - View Affiliate Payment Details - Export Affiliates **Merchant Rights** - View Merchants **Report Columns Rights** - View Payout - View ECPM - View EPC - View Revenue - View Commission - View Margin The report runner template has the View All Campaigns in reports permission in addition to the following report rights: **View Permission** - Campaign Performance Report - Affiliate Performance Report - Campaigns By Affiliate Report - Affiliate Commissions Report - Merchant Performance Report - Sub ID Breakout Report - Affiliate Manager Performance Report - Affiliates By Campaign Report - Creative Breakout Report - Daily Breakout Report - Campaigns By Merchant Report The user must have the View right before the user is given the Export right. #### Other Template The other template is a blank user template that allows you to create user permissions from scratch. ### User Rights LinkTrust has the following user rights categories: - Admin Rights - Transaction Rights - Community Rights - Campaign Rights - Affiliate Rights - Merchant Rights - Report Columns Rights - Report Rights #### Admin Rights The following lists the admin rights with a brief description: - **Manage Users -** Allows the user to modify other user accounts. - **Manage Email Settings -** Allows the user to access and use the Email Settings page. - **Manage Domains -** Allows the user to access and use the Domains page.Manage APIsAllows the user to access and use the APIs page. - **Manage Affiliate Center -** Allows the user to access and use the Affiliate Center customization settings page. - **Manage Merchant Center -** Allows the user to access and use the Merchant Center customization settings page. - **Manage Third Party Integrators -** Allows the user to manage any third party software integrated into LinkTrust. - **View all User Tasks -** Allows the user to view tasks for all users. #### Transaction Rights The following lists the transaction rights with a brief description: - **View Transaction Details -** Allows the user to access the details of a transaction in Transaction Details. - **Edit Transactions -** Allows the user to modify a specific transaction in Transaction Details. - **Export Transaction Details -** Allows the user to export transactions in the Transaction Details. #### Community Rights The following lists the community rights with a brief description: - **Company Profile -** Allows the user to modify the company's profile. - **OfferBoard -** Allows the user access to the OfferBoard. - **Support -** Allows the user access to LinkTrust support. - **Suggestion Box -** Allows the user access to the Suggestion Box. - **GeekSpeak -** Allows the user access to GeekSpeak. - **Forum -** Allows the user access to LinkTrust forums. - **View Connections -** Allows the user to view LinkTrust connections. - **Cashier -** Allows the user to view the Cashier page. This page is unavailable to users if this right is not granted. #### Campaign Rights The following lists the campaign rights with a brief description: - **Create Campaigns -** Allows the user to create a new campaign. - **Edit Assigned Campaigns -** Allows the user to modify a campaign assigned to that user. - **Edit All Campaigns -** Allows the user to modify any campaign in the system. #### Affiliate Rights The following lists the affiliate rights with a brief description: - **View All Affiliates -** Allows the user to view all affiliates in any report in the system. - **View Affiliate Details -** Allows the user to view an affiliate's detail information. This must be enabled before the user can gain access to any other affiliate permissions. - **Create Affiliates -** Allows the user to create new affiliate accounts. - **Edit Assigned Affiliates -** Allows the user to edit affiliates assigned to them. - **Edit All Affiliates -** Allows the user to edit any affiliate account in the system. - **Approve New Applications -** Allows the user to approve new affiliate applications. - **View Affiliate Payment Details -** Allows the user to view affiliate payment details. - **Export Affiliates -** Allows the user to export affiliate account information out of LinkTrust. #### Merchant Rights The following lists the merchant rights with a brief description: - **Create Merchants -** Allows the user to create a new merchant. - **View Merchants -** Allows the user to view merchant account information. - **Edit Merchants -** Allows the user to modify merchant account information. #### Report Columns Rights The following lists the report columns rights with a brief description: - **View Payout -** Allows the user to view the affiliate payout. - **View ECPM -** Allows the user to view the estimated cost per mille or ECPM. - **View EPC -** Allows the user to view the earnings per click statistic. - **View Revenue -** Allows the user to view the revenue from a merchant. - **View Commission -** Allows the user to view affiliate commission. - **View Margin -** Allows the user to view the margins made from an offer. #### Report Rights The following lists the report rights with a brief description: - **View All Campaigns in reports -** Allows the user to view all campaigns in any report in the system. - **Campaign Performance Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Campaign Performance Report. - **Affiliate Performance Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Affiliate Performance Report. - **Campaigns by Affiliate Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Campaigns by Affiliate Report. - **Affiliate Commissions Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Affiliate Commissions Report. - **Merchant Performance Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Merchant Performance Report. - **Sub ID Breakout Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Sub ID Breakout Report. - **Affiliate Manager Performance Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Affiliate Manager Performance Report. - **Affiliates by Campaign Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Affiliates by Campaign Report. - **Creative Breakout Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Creative Breakout Report. - **Daily Breakout Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Daily Breakout Report. - **Campaigns By Merchant Report -** Allows the user to access and use the Campaigns By Merchant Report.
