We use a tool called Fiddler to test an affiliate's pixel and ensure accuracy in reporting. Before you begin the following steps, you must Download Fiddler.
Getting Started
1. Open Fiddler.
2. Place the test URL into a browser and press enter.
As an example, we'll use a sample url: (http://in.linkmo.com/redir.aspx?CID=19255&AFID=2172&DID=86371&SID=Test).
You'll see these result displayed in Fiddler:
Since you're using Fiddler, you should see the redirect transition from the Tracking URL to the Landing Page URL.
If you are testing this with an Affiliate's Test URL, you will see their URL redirect to the Tracking URL from their affiliate account and then redirect to the Landing Page URL in LinkTrust.
3. Now proceed to the confirmation page by filling out the required information.
Once you land on the success page or the page that qualifies for a conversion, you should see the confirmation pixel fire and report this activity in Fiddler and LinkTrust.
For the Sample URL, the confirmation pixel looks like this:

Once the confirmation pixel fires, Fiddler will report this in the same window.
In the image above, you will see the confirmation pixel highlighted. This report shows that the confirmation pixel has fired from the webpage.
If you don't see your pixel fire or your affiliate pixel fire, you should begin troubleshooting.
